| Bill Reid Artist Series/shrub (2012) A beautiful, very floriferous shrub rose available spring of 2012 from the Artist Series Roses. A good, clear yellow shrub rose with large single blooms that drop clean after blooming. Not as fragrant as "Golden Celebration" but still has a good scent. This new winter hardy shrub rose is out of the Morden Research Stations "Morden Sunrise" and looks quite a bit like it. Bud grafted, it can grow about 4.5 ' tall. Own root about 3.5". Upright growth with nice olive green foliage. Disease resistant but plant in full sun and good air circulation as most yellow roses can get blackspot if the conditions are wet and cool over the growing season. |
