JOHN DAVIS
Explorer Shrub/climber(1986)

The medium pink double flowers are born in large clusters of up to 17. Each bloom is a diameter of 3"-4" with some often of quartered form like old heirloom roses. The icy pink blooms have a slight spicy fragrance. John Davis sends out arching canes of up to seven feet long and can be trained as a climber of very hardy stock. Virtually no winterkill what so ever. Very floriferous all season and the plant is very disease resistant. Makes a wonderful hedge if prunned by one third every year or a hardy climber. Hardy to zone 3.For a climber we suggest a budded/grafted rose & own root for shrub plants.
