Marie Victorin
EXPLORER Shrub Rose(1998)
A new release from the Explorer Series is Marie Victorin. A vigorous rose that, on its own roots, will make a medium size bush of 4.5' x 4.5'. Buds of deep peach colour change to a pale peach at the blossom stage and later to pink when fully opened. The flowers are semi-double (38 petals) and show their yellow centers when fully opened. Clusters have up to 7 flowers. Foliage is a beautiful shiny green and is very resistant to blackspot and mildew. A very good repeater - as good as Frontenac, making it a great garden rose. Slight fragrance. Hardy to zone 3 with little dieback.
