If there ever was a perfect old rose form it would have to be said of the blooms of Mme.
Hardy. Perfectly round, semi-cupped white blooms that sometimes show a slight tinge of
pink surround a prominent green center (not yellow). Flowers are born in small
clusters. Bloom size averages 3". Very fragrant. Foliage is healthy, olive
green.. Plant is not a large one but a well manored bush of 3.5' x 3.5' on its own roots.
Summer Damask rose it blooms once. Hardy to zone 4.
