Nicolas is one of the newer hardy shrub roses bred for our famous Explorer Series.

A compact plant the grows only 29" high and wide.It repeats very well over summer with small clusters of semi-souble, red flowers. Blooms have between 18-20 petals. Nicolas is very usefull for gardens that do not have alot of space. It's very healthy with little or no blackspot or mildew!

On its own roots Nicolas can be hardy to zone 3 with some dieback.
It has been in our Halifax, xone 5 gardens for four years now with no dieback once so ever.
