Hybrid Rugosa (1987)
This is one of the earliest of the Pavement Series roses to be bred. Probably the most fragrant of all the Series! Deep maroon, long shapely buds open into medium pink, semi-double blooms in small clusters. Vigorous growth, a compact plant that grows no more than 3'x3' on it's own roots. Very healthy, disease resistant and ironclad hardy to zone 3.
