| We are a family run, mail order nursery not a conventional garden center and thus our main operation is as such. We do have the farm open during the main gardening season and would love to have you visit. Please be advised, we are extremely busy in April & early May as most times we are still shipping. Should you wish to pick up your order or visit outside the times listed just give us a call and we will be most happy to accommodate you. Daylilies & perennials that are not in pots can be dug fresh upon demand. |
TIME OF YEAR & HOURS OF OPERATION : As we are a mail order nursery we have limited hours of operation at the farm. We've set up a small retail outlet at the farm but please note our limited hours of operation. We also welcome an email if you are searching for a particular rose, shrub, daylily or perennial as we have lots growing here. SPRING & SUMMER: We are opened April 23rd 2009 for bare root sales only. Potted plants are available from May 01, 2008 till Aug. 16 th 2008. (August open by appointment only, someone is usually there but we cannot guarantee that the farm will be open ) HOURS: -- Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday --10 AM TO 6 PM We are closed on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday AUTUMN: After second weekend in Aug, we are closed except by appointment. Emial us or give us a call and we would be happy to meet with you to discuss your landscaping plans & what plants are best for your area. Local, fall orders can be picked up the last weekend in October & first in November by appointment (You can call to schedule a visit outside these times & we'd be happy to accommodate you!!) SUMMER ACTIVITIES: ROSE AND DAYLILY DAZE OPEN HOUSE (come see the roses & daylilies in bloom!) First & Second weekend in July are our Rose Daze -- Usually, the roses are in full bloom & most summer perennials too. Garden Clubs are welcome, please call to arrange a time for your visit! ________________________ Third & fourth weekend in July are usually our Daylily Daze -- Usually the dayliles are in full bloom.
