| We are a family run, mail order nursery not a conventional garden center and thus our main operation is as such. We do have the farm open during the main gardening season and would love to have you visit. Please be advised, we are extremely busy in April & early May as most times we are still shipping. Should you wish to pick up your order or visit outside the times listed just give us a call and we will be most happy to accommodate you. Daylilies & perennials that are not in pots can be dug fresh upon demand. |
TIME OF YEAR & HOURS OF OPERATION : As we are a mail order nursery we have limited hours of operation at the farm. The garden center and display gardens at 161 Pockwock Rd. ( off Hammonds Plains Rd.) open hours are below. Please note: our limited hours of operation. We also welcome an email if you are searching for a particular rose, shrub, daylily or perennial as we have lots growing here. SPRING & SUMMER:2010 Opened April 9, 2010 for bare root rose and shrub sales. HOURS OF OPERATION AT THE FARM HOURS: -- Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday --10 AM TO 6 PM We are closed on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday Should you wish to visit on the closed days please contact us & we will be glad to open for you. SUMMER ACTIVITIES: 2010 ROSE AND DAYLILY DAYS OPEN HOUSE (come see the roses & daylilies in bloom!) Rose Days for 2010 will be held on June 24th till June 27th. This is about 3 weeks earlier than most years. A good number of our perennials are blooming also. (Check out What's Blooming) Garden Clubs are welcome, please call to arrange a time for your visit! DAYLILY DAYS AT HEIRLOOM ROSES This year for 2010 Daylily Days will be held the weekend of July 24th and July 25th...by the look of the bloom scapes that are up now, things will be pretty spectacular! Starts at 12:00 till 6 pm each day. AUTUMN: 2010 This year our garden center and display gardens will be closed after July 18th. due to major renovations. We will still see gardeners by appointment only & would be happy to meet with you to discuss your landscaping plans & what plants are best for your area. Local, fall orders can be picked up the last weekend in October & first in November by appointment (You can call to schedule a visit outside these times & we'd be happy to accommodate you!!) LATE FALL: Opened the Last week of Oct. - Nov. 10th for bare-root plants. Please call for more information: (902) 832-2832 2-3 gal.
