Every garden needs fall colours and this New England Aster is the best we've found anywhere! Purple Dome strutts masses of large (1.5"), deep magenta purple flowers with dark brown & golden stamens. Not too tall like other asters it only grows 24" high. Makes a perfect mound about 24" wide. Likes full sun and good, moisture retaining soil. Zones 4-8. Perennial.
