Parkland Shrub (1990)
Bred as a hardy hedging plant, this rose has a very dense growth habit with wonderful foliage and very beautiful blooms. Shrub grows up to 5' tall and wide with a very vigorous growth habit. Fully grown and unpruned it has an arching habit. Very double (40 petals), flat flowers are born in clusters of 1-6. Medium pink fading to light pink as they age. New foliage is olive green and burgundy making for a very attractive bush even when not in bloom Very vigorous & healthy plants. Somewhat fragrant. Main blooming time is early July with afew flowers later in the season. Hardy to zone 3.
Disease resistancy is very good.
